Pleased to hear you had a great time in Hartington - sorry to have missed it!
So, Snowdonia it is for next year.
I'll book the Pen-y-Gwrd Hotel for the equivalent w/e to this year's event, which is 10/11/12 June 2011. It's a smashing place, you'll love it. If you can't make it, please let me know by 30 June cos I need to book well in advance.
If I don't hear anything, I'll assume you're in.

This is the final joining email for the Walking Weekend. Our booking has been confirmed and we are booked in for dinner on Friday and Saturday Evenings.

Fw: Walking Weekend June 11 12 2010

Good morning All. This email is to check that you are still alive and fully committed to Hartington.Mike can't make it and I may not be able to hold the price per head depending on final room configuration. With the Hotel arrangements to finalise,could you all confirm your attendance by responding to me by email. A number of you haven't settled the deposit and I would be grateful for donations. I will be aiming to arrive by 10.00am on the Friday ready for a short walk to Alstonefield via Biggin Dale to The George for a pint and a gastro pub lunch. On Saturday I am thinking of walk down Beresford Dale, Wolfscote Dale and Dove Dale to Thorp and back on the Tissington Trail with pints halfway.This is a fairish distance but no hills to speak of. We could arrange to leave a car halfway.  Better suggestions or variations gratefully received!! Sunday will look after itself.  Many short walks around Hartington. On receipt of responses, I will reconfirm the hotel and will be back to you with a final update as soon as.
